Get the Right Fit. Ski Longer. Hurt Less.
A great day on the mountain starts with boots that actually fit.
Buying your first pair or upgrading from a beat-up favorite? Either way, a proper boot fitting can make a huge difference in comfort, control, and warmth.
At Uller’s Outdoor, our boot fittings are done in-house by a certified Master Bootfitter, trained through Masterfit University. You can trust that your feet—and your turns—are in good hands.
Why a Professional Boot Fit Matters
Ill-fitting boots can lead to sore feet, cold toes, poor control—and a shorter day on the slopes. Our boot fitting process takes into account your foot shape, stance, pressure points, and skiing style to help you find the right shell and liner combo. If needed, we can also recommend custom insoles or other tweaks for long-term comfort and support.
We’ll walk you through:
- Sizing and shell fit
- Flex rating based on your skill level and skiing style
- Foot shape and volume assessment
- Liner molding, shell customization, and heat fitting (if applicable)
- Adjustments to buckles, straps, and stance
Boot Fitting Labor Fee & Purchase Credit
Labor Fee - Boot Fitting: $75
If you purchase your boots from Uller’s Outdoor within 30 days of your fitting, we’ll deduct the full $75 from your boot purchase—so the fitting ends up free.

What to Bring to Your Boot Fitting
To get the most accurate fit, we recommend bringing:
- Ski or Snowboard Socks – The socks you plan to wear on the mountain (preferably thin to mid-weight, no bulky cotton).
- Your Current Boots (if applicable) – If you’re replacing a pair, bring them along so we can assess what worked—or didn’t.
- Your Footbeds or Insoles – If you use custom or aftermarket insoles in your current boots or everyday shoes, bring those too.
- Your Orthotics (if prescribed) – We can often work with your existing orthotics to get a better fit in your ski or snowboard boots.
- Questions or concerns – If you’ve had fit issues in the past (numb toes, heel lift, calf pressure, etc.), jot them down so we can address them during the fitting.
Custom Shell Work By Appointment
Dealing with pressure points, wide feet, or tough-to-fit calves? We offer custom shell work to relieve hot spots and fine-tune the fit of your ski boots. This includes punching, grinding, and stance adjustments—all done in-house by our certified bootfitter.
Please note: Custom shell work requires additional time and tools, so appointments are necessary to provide the best customer experience.
