2024 Dolomites, Italy Ski Trip

Dolomites

In March 2024, the Uller’s crew headed to the Dolomiti Superski region in northern Italy for an unforgettable ski week in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey began with a motorcoach departure from our York store to Newark International Airport, followed by a nonstop flight to Milan. From there, guests traveled by private coach through the scenic Italian countryside to Vigo di Fassa, nestled in the shadow of the Catinaccio mountains.

Our home base for the week was the 4-star Alpen Hotel Corona, just 100 meters from the Catinaccio lift. This alpine retreat offered more than just access to the slopes—it featured daily breakfast and dinner, a welcome cocktail, afternoon tea, and full access to the Rosengarten Wellness Center, complete with an indoor pool, Turkish bath, relaxation zone, and modern fitness center. Evening entertainment, free Wi-Fi, ski storage with boot dryers, and complimentary ski shuttles added extra convenience.

Skiers enjoyed direct access to the Dolomiti Superski area, which connects 15 resorts and over 1,200 km of trails. The legendary Sella Ronda loop, Marmolada Glacier, and the regions of Lusia, Carezza, and Latemar were all within reach—and guided ski tours were available for those looking to explore with locals. The full Ikon Pass was valid across the region, making it a fantastic option for seasoned skiers.

For those not skiing, side trips were in the works to explore the surrounding towns, natural beauty, and cultural landmarks of the South Tyrol region—adding variety and adventure for non-skiing companions.

With stunning alpine scenery, world-class skiing, warm Italian hospitality, and wellness amenities to match, the Dolomites trip was a truly immersive alpine experience—and a favorite among Uller’s travelers.
